Tickets for all events and performances are available online from one of our ticket partners or directly from the hirer presenting the performance. Please see the specific information on the event page for further details on where to purchase tickets and if tickets may be available on the door. Please note that none of our venues have a dedicated Box Office counter.

Getting to us      

 

Octagon Centre                  

Clarkson Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S10 2TQ

Tram: The Octagon Centre is within a 10 minute walk of the University tram stop. This tram stop is serviced by Yellow and Blue Supertram routes.

Bus: The 120/51 bus services runs frequently from the city centre to the Students’ Union (around 100m to Octagon centre).

Car: Q-Park Durham Road is a 5 minute walk from the Octagon Centre  and offers a special evening rate of £3 (6pm-midnight). More information on charges and directions can be found here.

Drama Studio       

Shearwood Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S10 2TD

Tram: The Drama Studio is within a 10 minute walk of the University tram stop. This tram stop is serviced by Yellow and Blue Supertram routes.

Bus: The 120 bus service runs regularly from the city centre to the Drama Studio.

Car: Q-Park Durham Road is a 5 minute walk from the Drama Studio and offers a special evening rate of £3 (6pm-midnight). More information on charges and directions can be found here.

Firth Hall         

Firth Court, Western Bank, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S10 2TN

Tram: Firth Hall is within a 10 minute walk of the University tram stop. This tram stop is serviced by Yellow and Blue Supertram routes.

Bus: The 52 and 52a bus services run frequently from the city centre to Firth Hall (located in Firth Court).

Car: Q-Park Durham Road is a 5 minute walk from Firth Hall and offers a special evening rate of £3 (6pm-midnight). More information on charges and directions can be found here.

Food and drink in the venues

 

 

Octagon Centre                                            

The Octagon Centre has its own bar which opens approximately an hour prior to public performances. Serving a wide section of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, the bar is the perfect location for refreshments inside the venue.

Drama Studio                                    

The Drama Studio has a refreshments counter that opens thirty minutes prior to the start of performances and during the interval. The bar does not serve alcoholic drinks during theatrical performances but the Drama Studio does operate a fully licensed bar for live music shows.

Firth Hall                                

Krebs at Firth Hall is a traditional and beautiful setting for coffee and tea, sandwiches and cakes whether that be morning, lunchtime or afternoon. During our evening concerts you can buy wine and other interval refreshments here.
Refreshments are available from Krebs Monday-Friday, 08.30 – 16.00.

Wheelchair access

Octagon                                           

Access to the Octagon is via a sweeping ramp up to the front entrance and automatic doors. There are accessible toilets at this level in the lower foyer. Access to the bar and Main Hall is via a passenger lift up to the next floor. Wheelchair positions are available for all seated configurations. If you are attending an event without seating then please make yourself known to the Duty Managers on arrival, who will arrange priority entry and advise where best to watch the event. Please see specific information within the event details.

Hearing Impairment

All venues are fitted with both a hearing induction loop and an infra-red hearing system which are operational throughout the auditorium. Receivers for the infra-red hearing system are available from the Duty Managers.

Where Audio Described or Captioned performances are available, this will be indicated within the details of the specific event.
