balo – Surroundings Installation

Another unique event from Sheffield innovators balo

We were absolutely blown away by balo’s performance in May at the Drama Studio, and are delighted to bring them back to the spectacular ‘Heartspace’ on campus for another site specific performance.

This project sees balo working in collaboration with live-sound engineer Emma Lambert. Speakers scattered around the atrium of the Heartspace will help create an immersive live performance, inviting the audience to reimagine and explore the space around them. Additional synths will be provided by Jez Matthews (Jazz at the Lescar) plus clarinet and saxophone from Hannah Brady – both perform together as Whale Detective.
