Page to Stage Workshop with Proteus Theatre

Sunday 03 April 2022 at 2:00 pm

In this workshop Mary Swan, Adaptor and Director of ‘The Bloody Chamber’ will take you through her process of using devising, physical theatre and kinaesthetic techniques alongside acrobalance and aerial choreography to create the show. This will be a practical workshop; participants will try out techniques and adapt short sections of the text enabling them to experience the process both as performer and maker, so wear comfortable clothes and bring water! This workshop is ideal for theatre and narrative circus makers and performers and anyone curious about the possible interfaces between text and circus.
