Sheffield and Nottingham University Wind Orchestras combine to bring a concert of music from around the world.

Both bands will form a rarely-seen (and rarely-heard) double Wind Orchestra of over 100 players as well as performing separately for a programme including East Coast Pictures (Hess), Paris Sketches (Ellerby), Hymn of the Highlands (Sparke) and more.

Sheffield University Wind Orchestra (SUWO) is an award winning ensemble featuring students from departments across the University at all levels of study, conducted by Gareth Widdowson. They have been making music for the last 20 years, and will be presenting a brilliant programme of music for us this November.
