Silk Dialogues with Forum Music

Forum Music is a Taiwanese ensemble founded in 1996 and dedicated to performing cutting edge music, both from Taiwan and international composers. Touring internationally, they have been hailed by the New York Times as ….hautingly graceful and emotionally searing; virtuosic and texturally invigorating”.

We are very excited to bring them to Sheffield for an exclusive performance as part of the Silk Dialogues programme – an international collaboration of leading composers and performers working to produce new compositions combining Chinese and Western instruments. This programme will include premieres of new works by Professor Dorothy Ker, Jeroen Speak, Ellen Sargen and a host of others, including several Taiwanese composers.
