The Sheffield Beatles Project, a thirty-person supergroup of Sheffield’s finest musicians return to The Octagon in December to celebrate two iconic albums of the 1960s.
Since 2016 they have built an unrivalled reputation for authentically recreating the music of The Beatles, playing entire albums in full with a simple motto: “if it’s on the record, it’s in our performance”.
Their hugely entertaining performances underpinned by a meticulous attention to detail will make their 2023 show featuring the music of The Beatles and The Beach Boys a must-see. Paul McCartney said of Pet Sounds “I just thought this is the best album of all time” with Beatles producer George Martin adding “without The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds there would be no Sgt. Pepper”.
These legendary albums deserve to be heard together, and yet this concert will be the first time they have ever been performed back to back, making this an unmissable evening of music.
