Circus Xanti / Ali Williams Productions present

As a Tiger in the Jungle

Thursday 04th April, 8pm

This is the story of Nepalese children being trafficked into slavery in Indian traditional circus.

As a Tiger in the Jungle is an authentic, raw and heart-warming performance about life and circus, entertainment and reflection. Inspired by the lives of three circus performers from Nepal and Vietnam.

Using spoken word, movement, circus and ceremony they tell the story of how against all odds they survived their experiences as child circus slaves in India and created their own destiny.

Produced through an international partnership between artistic directors from renowned companies NoFit State and Circus Xanti, As a Tiger in the Jungle is a unique theatrical circus experience.

Supported by NoFit State, Pontio, Baerum Kulturhus, Porsgrunn International Theater Festival, Black-E, ChoraChori Nepal
