We are excited to be working with the fantastic Simon Lepper this year to bring some incredible classical talent to Firth Hall. In this first concert, Simon will accompany American flautist Brandon Patrick George.

Hailed as a “knockout musician with a gorgeous sound” by The Philadelphia Inquirer, Brandon Patrick George is a Grammy® Award-winning flautist whose repertoire extends from the Baroque era to today. He is the flutist of Imani Winds and has appeared as a soloist with the Atlanta, Baltimore, and Albany symphonies, American Composers Orchestra, and the Orchestra of St. Luke’s. The programme for this concert will include Boulanger, J. S. Bach and Aaron Copland, among others.

Simon Lepper is an incredibly talented pianist and accompanist with an extensive array of collaborators and discography. He read music at King’s College, Cambridge before studying piano accompaniment. He is currently Assistant Head of Keyboard (collaborative piano) at the Royal College of Music, London.
