Kate Fox once thought receiving a positive diagnosis for autism had as much chance of happening as a female Doctor Who.  This funny and smart stand-up spoken word show looks at neurodiversity through the theme of Doctor Who. Kate Fox takes us through the ways the iconic sci-fi show has shaped her view of the world and how it is intertwined with the development about historic views of autism and neurodiversity.  The show calls for greater acceptance of different ways of thinking, processing and being in the world and for us to look beyond the medical view of neurodivergent conditions to have a radical appreciation of the ways in which everyone is, like the TARDISBigger on the Inside.

You don’t have to be neurodivergent or a Whovian to enjoy Kate’s trademark mixture of funny, thoughtful stand-up poetry,

Kate Fox is a stand-up poet, writer, broadcaster and a campaigner for the voices of Northerners, the working class, women and the neurodiverse to be heard.
