What better way to get in the festive mood than with a mesmerising evening of choral music!
Sheffield University Chamber Choir sings a wide array of sacred and secular music, ranging from the music of the 16th to the 21st century. They perform several concerts annually, both at the University and elsewhere in the city. Recent highlights have included recitals at Sheffield Cathedral, St Marie’s Cathedral and St John’s Church Ranmoor. They also lead the University’s Service of Remembrance and the official University Carol Service. The choir goes on an annual summer tour, most recently performing in the churches and cathedrals of Milan, Kraków & Prague.
We are delighted to welcome Huw Follant, the new conductor for this autumn.
