Our second concert with accompanist Simon Lepper this season sees him joined by the critically acclaimed Mezzo-Soprano Fleur Barron.

Hailed as “a knockout performer” by The Times, Singaporean-British mezzo Fleur Barron recently triumphed at the San Francisco Symphony in the title role of Kaija Saariaho’s opera Adriana Mater. She is a current Rising Star of Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and an Artistic Partner of the Orquesta Sinfonica del Principado de Asturias in Oviedo. A passionate interpreter of opera, chamber music, and concert works ranging from the baroque to the contemporary.

Simon Lepper is an incredibly talented pianist and accompanist with an extensive array of collaborators and discography. He read music at King’s College, Cambridge before studying piano accompaniment. He is currently Assistant Head of Keyboard (collaborative piano) at the Royal College of Music, London.
