Our second event with resident artist Mark Fell is a UK premiere of his incredible piece INTRA.

Mark Fell is an artist who’s work combines interests in the philosophy of technology, creative process, and class consciousness; demonstrating a specific focus on the interaction between systems and interpersonal dynamics. INTRA is a series of linked pieces of no fixed duration for four percussionists, each of which follow a separate but related rhythmic structure. Performed on Metallophones, special instruments originally designed by the Greek composer Iannis Xenakis.
Grupo de Percussão (Drumming – Percussion Group) stands, internationally, as one of the most important collectives of its kind. Founded in 1999, its work has seen performances across the world and a foregrounding of innovative performances and new works.
