Throughout term time we run free informal recitals and events in Firth Hall. Including visiting guests and the performances from the talented students from the Department of Music.
This lunchtime concert sees a performance by the University’s New Music Ensemble.
A rotating cast of extremely talented musicians, New Music Ensemble perform pieces from the cutting edge of composition, often using experimental techniques and approaches. Based in the Music Department, and often performing compositions by their peers and members, the ensemble regularly perform in events across the city and on campus.
You can reserve a seat for this concert through the link below, but you are also welcome to just turn up on the day! This is a casual concert so bring your work, food, or young ones to enjoy the music with. It’s much more fun than being stuck in traffic!
