University of Sheffield Brass Band

For their 10th anniversary, we are delighted to present a concert from this talented student wind band as part of the Concert series.

The University of Sheffield Brass Band is an inclusive, non-auditioned group of musicians for students of both Sheffield universities. The band has a diverse repertoire incorporating big band tunes and popular music, while still remaining committed to brass band traditions.

This academic year marks the 10th anniversary of the band being founded by a group of students with a shared passion for Brass Banding.

We are also delighted to have a number of USBB alumni supporting us and performing alongside the current band and experienced musical director David McLaren.
