L’Amour à la folie
“Darling, I love you to death!”
This sentence, sung by Mariam on M’Bife Blues, takes on all the more meaning since 4 April 2025, the date of the death of the man with whom she has built a life: Amadou.
After forty-five years of love and music from the Malian duo Amadou & Mariam, April 2025 marked the end of the partnership when Amadou, passed away.
Mariam now returns to the road, still accompanied by her faithful musicians, to play the melodies that made the couple a success, as well as songs that make up the new album, L’Amour à la folie.
