Join members of the University of Sheffield Symphony Orchestra, its talented alumni, and conductor Adam Harrod in a showcase of Sheffield music making at the start of this academic year.

Their programme will include Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite for 13 instruments, a twentieth-century masterwork capturing the essence of the American frontier in its original intimate but striking orchestration.

This project is one of two additional student performances this term which see our talented ensembles run special events around a particular piece of music.
