We are very excited to be joined by multi-genre pianist and musical director Yshani Perinpanayagam for a contemporary recital of works around the theme of ‘Play’, including a piece for piano and Commodore 64!

Yshani has performed at venues from Wigmore Hall to the London Palladium, at events from Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival to the Barbican Mime Festival, and with artists from the Philharmonia to Nina Conti. She has written works for the London Sinfonietta, Onyx Brass, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and St. Martin’s Voices. She was music director for triple-Oliver winner Emilia at the Vaudeville Theatre, conductor for Kurt Weill’s Street Scene for Opéra Bastille, music director and pianist for Ruination at Royal Opera House with Lost Dog Dance, and improvising music director with Olivier-award-winning show Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. Yshani is also a regular guest broadcaster on BBC Radio 3.
